Even if it was public holiday, Arabella team still kept our appointment with clients at Canton Fair last week. We had a great time with them by sharing more of our new designs and ideas. Simultaneously, we received a bunch of visits and some sweet gifts from them recently.
Not only factory visits and greetings we brought back for our companies, but also information-for our clients. We captured more data and current situations that we observed at the exhibition. Though the whole world is under the pressure of US tariffs, it didn’t stop the increasing purchasers from worldwide swarming into the Canton Fair Complex.
According to the status from Canton Fair official website, purchasers from “the Belt and Road” countries increased about 17.4%, accounted for 64.9% of the whole foreign purchasers, while purchasers from BRICS have risen about 24.1%, and purchasers from RCEP have risen about 6.9%. At the same time, purchasers from Europe and US still increased by 3.4%. There were 376 global leading companies and the trade amount at the exhibition has reached about 25.44 billion dollars.

(Apr.29th) WGSN x Coloro announced that “Luminous Blue (Coloro code: 125–28–38)” as Color of the Year for 2027. It is a blue that described as “Both mysterious and eccentric”.
Apart from this, there are 4 rest colors that joined in the palette by tones:

Fibers
(Apr.30th) KBR is supporting Samsara Eco to build the world’s first enzymatic plastic and textile recycling plant, which is expected to be completed in 2028.
The plant uses AI-driven enzyme technology to recycle hard-to-recycle materials such as nylon 6,6 into monomers, achieving infinite recycling with low carbon emissions. This innovation will promote the circular economy and help brands like lululemon replace virgin plastics with recycled materials. Currently, enzymatically recycled nylon 6,6 and polyester products are already on the market, promoting sustainable development in the industry.

(Apr.23rd) Ambercycle has reached a strategic cooperation agreement with Highsun Group that they will accelerate the industry’s transition to a circular economy through joint market development for fiber recycling, procurement of scrap textile materials, collaborative engineering projects, new material production and the promotion of circular material quality and industry standards.
New Collection Released by Top Activewear Behemoth
Last week most brands have entered into Mother’s Day promotion, such as lululemon and Under Armour. Except this, the new drops were designed for gym studio training mainly. It is notable that the blue color was the main theme in this week.
