This week, we still got you more news before our National Holidays. We believe they meant something in your following activewear designs.

Colors

(Sept 19th)

The four key colors for AW27/28 debut by WGSN x Coloro has been adopted by luxury brands. They are Russet, Peaceful Lilac, Maize, and Deep Green. These colors have already made appearances on major runways. Here are some of examples for you.

Fabrics

(Sept 23rd)

Unifi, one of REPREVE’s partner fabric suppliers, has launched ThermaLoop™, an insulation material that received an honorable nomination in the Sustainability category of Fast Company’s 2025 Innovation by Design Awards. Made entirely from recycled materials—with at least 50% of them being textile waste—this material offers a high-performance, closed-loop solution. From Arabella’s perspective, it might provide a revolutionary option for winter performance wear in the following.

Technology

(Sept 25th)

Bio-chemical company Nature Coatings has developed a groundbreaking bio-based pigment named BioBlack. BioBlack is a 100% bio-based, high-performance, carbon-negative alternative to conventional fossil-based carbon black pigments. It offers the highest light-fastness rating, ensuring it will not fade or discolor, making it a durable and reliable pigment suitable for various coating applications—including those requiring quality shades and blue undertones. Currently, denim brand Levi’s has expanded the use of BioBlack into its mainstream denim collections.
