Alongside an upcoming happy ending for the Arabella Clothing squad's team in the US, our team in HQ started our own trip last Saturday: we warmly welcomed another visit from guests who came afar from France.
Targeting to build a premium running gear brand for Asian female runners, our French friends had rigorous criteria for their collaborative activewear manufacturers. After a few rounds of communications with several manufacturers, Arabella Clothing won their trust and we soon started partnership with our solid background in serving running gear brands.
The Outset of Developing a New Running Wear Brand for Women
Our clients started their running clothing collections with two basic items in racing gear: running sports bras and shorts. They were for a try-on and fine-tune for their prototypes, as well as more detailed confirmation for their running shorts. Our team prepared some ready fabrics, techniques and accessories samples for them to choose. Astounded by our comprehensive services, our clients praised our team and found what they exactly sought.
As a segment of activewear, running apparel often has different criteria in fabrics, accessories and seams. Compared to common activewear, weightlessness, abrasion prevention and UV protection are more considerable than others. These qualities are also particularly important for Asian women. This time, Arabella Clothing prepared plenty of fabrics corresponding to our clients' need, inspiring them in developing their new collections.
A Tour to Walk Through the Bulk Production & Quality Management
Apart from the review of prototypes, our sales team also guided them walking through our factory to learn our process of material management, garment production and quality control. We showcased them our independent R&D mock-up department, warehouse, laboratory for raw material testing, raw material processing areas and our workshop of bulk production.
The tour was regular like most of garment suppliers until our client found out our laboratory for testing raw materials, which attracted them completely. Arabella team presented them the function of each testing equipment for testing fabric quality, such as color fastness under different conditions, stretch and recovery, pilling levels, logo quality and shrinkage. As an athletic clothing manufacturer, it is important to learn performance of fabrics we sourced for athletic brands. Our clients listened carefully and were satisfied with our breakdown illustration in quality checking.
A Bigger Progress that Arabella Clothing Made with Our Client
Except development of running apparel, our client would like to discover more inspiration in running accessories, such as running headbands, and Arabella team made preparation on these accessories, too. Our consideration on brand demand gained more compliments from our clients. Even though it was a short visit, our clients indicated that it was a fruitful journey with Arabella Clothing, vice versa.
